The Comic Book Museum (Angouleme - 35 mins) Angouleme is called “The City of Image”, and everywhere you go you will see murals and painted walls of comic characters. For children aged 4 to 12 the Comic Book Museum offers games, costumes, a creative station for planning imaginary trips, and an area where children can unleash their creativity through colouring.
Tree climbing, Accroparc de Soyaux (Angouleme – 30 mins) A great tree climbing park in suitable from 3 years old including a 60m long zip line, outdoor laser game activities, mini-golf and escape games, a water jump and playgrounds.
Aquajump (16) (St-Yrieix-sur-Charente, Angouleme – 40 mins) Slide, dive, jump and share bursts of laughter under the sun – a great outdoor waterpark for ages 6 upwards. Not suitable for non-swimmers.
Swimming at; Nautilus in Angouleme, with flumes and wave machines indoors and a large lake for fishing, sailing & water sports (30 mins), Les Antilles de Jonzac, a swimming complex with wave machines, beaches, saunas, shops, restaurants and much more (40 minutes).
